Cloudy yet fine day in the park
Campus based YFC having their prayer meeting
My overloaded team. Two handsome guys in the middle wearing black and white
Can you feel the rivalry?
Opponent
Caught
Meet the game master. He's cute but brutal
The almost invisible cups
Team building is about creating or strengthening a group of people. We were divided into two groups and each of us has a piece of string. The cups were positioned in the ground and we were also given a rubber band. We then tied each of our strings around the rubber band. Each string is in our mouth. We bit it with our hands at the back as if we were handicapped. We need to stretch the rubber band as a group to make the cup fit and tighten it and transfer it to the other side. Our goal was to form a 4x4 pyramid using the materials we had. The game itself was a torture if you were able to picture it out in your mind. The game started. It was really a hard game, the hardest ever. I was sweating so much and yet we were not able to transfer a cup. The game master pitied us and changed the mechanics. We were now allowed to use our hands but there would be 2 members in the group who would be blindfolded. The person beside me was blindfolded so I was responsible for leading and giving him instructions. The team needed to walk together so that the rubber band will not be stretched and so that the cup will not slip off. The difficult part of the game now is the forming of the pyramid because we need to release the rubber band in unison and put the cup in place. At the latter part of the game, we realized that the cups butt were not the same. The game lasted for 2 hours. Our team lost but it did not matter to me. It was a fun game.

We almost kissed the ground

I like him. He's Basil.
This guy does not look like stressed
The last and most important piece
Opponent won
And as if we won
Our opponent was not selfish and allowed our team to have a picture of their hard work
Snacks time
Hello there people
See the tired, stressed, happy and fulfilled faces
Culmination
We then relate the game to our lives. The rubber band was God. The cup was me/us. The strings was hope/faith. The blindfolded were the challenges when in the fact the game itself is the challenge. I have realized that if we loosened our faith in God then we really slip off and will be out of direction. For us not to loosen up, we need to grip our faith in God tightly. Amen.
