Long long time ago, my family have planned to migrate in the North American continent which I know is an impossible dream but altleast we tried. My whole family went to the Canadian consul this morning. The consul told us that we have only a little chance to pursue our dreams. He was able to say that because the skills of my parents are not included in the top skills which they are looking for. Having heard of that, I was stricken by sadness because I prayed for it to come but if it's HIS will, then there's nothing that we can do.
I want to elaborate on that sadness that I feel. Life here in the land where I am now, Philippines, is hard. Salaries are low. Quality of living is slight okay. Corruption is rampant. Laws are not strict. There are a lot of crimes happening. Economy is trying to recover from downfall. Can you now figure out the way of living we Filipino's have? It's really tough except for those upper class people. But, sometimes I don't think of the negatives that happen around; life needs to continue. That dream if it would come true will be of big help for my family and relatives because I've dreamt of having my family tree rise from poverty and live a quality & contented life.
