Konnichiha

I've greeted you in Japanese.

I'll share my experience in learning Nihongo.

At the very start of the semester, I was excited to learn the language because I am new to it(as in brand new). I thought that it would be an easy learning experience for me but I proved myself wrong. In our discussions, we were taught Hiragana and Katakana, the Japanese way of writing. I can say that their characters are confusing. How I wish those characters were like just numbers so that it would be easy to remember. I've had my notes simplified but still forgets some of those weird characters.

So far, I can say that Nihongo is the only subject in college that I don't finish the exams on time and always have lots of unanswered items. I've studied my lessons but it's hard to remember. I am good in memorizing but those different characters won't register in my mind. I guess I need to be an anime addict because some anime's like Naruto and Conan use Japanese in their subtitles. I also have difficult time in constructing sentences. ><

The subject gave me the lowest grade for this semester. But I'll try my best to do better in the final term which is weeks away. Stay tune for my final grade. :p

P.S. If I'll fail, I'll be thinking of commiting Harakiri. ):
