I am a victim of hacking. My Facebook account was logged in in an unusual location, that being said by the message from the Facebook Security Team. Among the billion users of Facebook, why they chose me to be their victim?
In connection, there was an issue in the office which I am having my on-the-job training. Their system was also hacked by an unknown person whose IP address is from the U.S. They were clueless and basically was defenseless.
Recently, there was a new batch of people who toured the office. I think there were three adults and I am pretty much confident that there was a teenage kid. Days flew. Then, I heard the news that the company hired a hacker to recheck their lines of PHP codes to make it hard for external hackers to penetrate. I was greatly surprised that they hired the teenage kid that I was talking about earlier. That kid according to my workmate is only 14 years old and is in his 7th grade. Isn't it a slap on our face? During my 7th grade, I could remember that we were only taught HTML. I can't blame myself for not learning PHP on my 7th grade because that kid also studies in an international school. The world rapidly evolves and we need to keep constantly evolving too.
I can compare the Internet to a relationship. They say that in a relationship, you need to leave a piece of you or in other words, you don't share all of your identity and even your secrets to your partner. Just like the Internet, let's also leave a piece of us hidden.
